Manchester United officially announced that Ruben Amorim has stepped down from his position as the club's manager, with Darren Fletcher named as the interim boss.
Amorim was appointed Manchester United manager in November 2024 and led the team to the UEFA Europa League final held in Bilbao in May.
Currently sitting sixth in the Premier League table, the club's hierarchy has made the difficult decision to change manager after careful consideration. They believe this move provides the best opportunity to secure the highest possible league finish for the team.
