Recently, Thierry Henry shared his views on Arsenal’s title challenge this season in an interview with Camel Live.
Henry said: “Arsenal has stronger squad depth now. No matter how Mikel Arteta arranges rotations, we must recognize his decisions. Having options is exactly what Arteta has always wanted.”
“The Gunners have analyzed the problems over the past three years—when key players like Martin Odegaard, William Saliba, and Bukayo Saka get injured, the team exposes squad weaknesses, and the club has realized this issue.”
“Will young players get more playing time? That’s a question for Arteta. But as an Arsenal fan, you must be delighted to see young talents like Ethan Nwaneri, Myles Lewis-Skelly, and Reuell Walters (Dowell corrected to match common references), and Saka himself is also a product of Arsenal’s youth academy.”
“I have always believed that to win the league title, you must have a strong squad. When the No.9 can’t score, having other players step up is the key to determining whether the team can win the title.”
“In the past, as a fan, I always thought Arsenal had the ability to win the title because you have dreams and expectations. But for the first time in so many years, I truly see this team having a chance to win—not just as an Arsenal fan, but also as a football fan and match analyst.”
“I can see the hope of winning the title because Arsenal is now more united than ever.”
