The 2025 Globe Soccer Awards ceremony was held today, with Monaco midfielder Paul Pogba winning the Best Comeback Award.
Pogba was previously suspended due to a positive drug test. After his ban was lifted this summer, he joined Monaco but has only played 3 games totaling 30 minutes so far due to injury troubles.
The Globe Soccer Awards is part of the Dubai International Sports Conference organized by the Dubai Sports Council. Founded in Dubai in 2010, the awards are hosted by the European Association of Football Agents and the European Club Association, with an awards ceremony held at the end of each year or the beginning of the next. Its founding purpose is to recognize outstanding agents and club managers in the football field. Since 2011, awards such as Best Player and Best Team have been added.
