After Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeated Flamengo to win the Intercontinental Cup final.
With this trophy, PSG completed a six-title haul in the 2025 calendar year, joining Barcelona (2009) and Bayern Munich (2020) as only the third team in football history to be crowned "six-time champions in a single year".
PSG’s 2025 "Six Titles" are as follows: Ligue 1 Champion, Coupe de France Champion, Trophée des Champions Champion, UEFA Champions League Champion, UEFA Super Cup Champion, and FIFA Intercontinental Cup Champion.
Notably, PSG could have made history as "seven-time champions". On July 13, they lost 3-0 to Chelsea in the final of the expanded 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, missing the chance to add that trophy to their honors list.
