Manchester City officially announced that their centre-back Rúben Dias sustained a hamstring injury during the match against Chelsea and will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks. The injury occurred in the last Sunday’s 1-1 Premier League draw with Chelsea.
Pep Guardiola, Manchester City's manager, confirmed the news at the pre-match press conference. Prior to this, the club also announced that Josko Gvardiol, another first-choice centre-back of the team, will undergo surgery and be out of action for a long period.
