Certified by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS), Ronaldo became the first player in football history to score 900 goals in top‑level competitions.
Now that Lionel Messi has also scored his 900th goal, he and Cristiano Ronaldo stand as the only two players in football history to reach the 900-goal milestone.
