With Man City dropping points to Chelsea over the weekend, Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the league standings to six points following a thrilling 3-2 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday.

The Gunners are now riding a seven-match win streak across all competitions and have scored two or more goals in all but one of those games. However, they have only kept one clean sheet in their last six in the top flight.

The hosts are unbeaten at the Emirates this season in all competitions and have only dropped two points in 10 league matches at this venue, which came via a 1-1 draw against City back in September. 

Arsenal came away from the Vitality Stadium with no new injury concerns, meaning only Riccardo Calafiori, Cristhian Mosquera and young Max Dowman will miss this week’s fixture.

After missing the match against Aston Villa with a knock, Declan Rice was the star of the show at the weekend, bagging a brace in the victory over Bournemouth to take his tally to seven goal contributions this season.

The major concern for Liverpool fans is whether Hugo Ekitike will be available for this clash. The Frenchman was forced to pull out of the trip to Craven Cottage with a hamstring issue and faces a race against time to feature at the Emirates.

Cody Gakpo was deployed as the number nine against Fulham and scored in stoppage time, recording his fifth league goal of the season. However, the standout performer for the Reds was Florian Wirtz, who has now picked up three goal contributions in his last four starts.
