Chelsea releases Reece James Christmas special interview & Talk about this year and the future

BlueBridgeGlory

Tonight is Christmas Eve, and Chelsea officially released the last Christmas interview, concluded by men’s team captain Reece James.

With his stable appearance rate and excellent performance, James reached the milestone of 200 appearances for Chelsea in October.

“To play 200 games for the club I’ve supported since I was a kid is simply a dream come true. I hope I can continue to play more games for Chelsea in the future.

I work hard to learn because there are many experienced players in the team. At that time, Cesar

Azpilicueta was the captain, and I played in the same position as him, so I tried my best to learn from him.

When I was young, I always kept my feet on the ground and didn’t think too far ahead. As long as I give my all every day, I can seize the opportunity when it comes.”

This year, the team has also achieved some collective successes, such as winning the Europa Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup. In our victory over Paris Saint-Germain in New Jersey, James performed brilliantly in midfield, which is undoubtedly a major highlight of his career. The way we defeated the European champions 3-0 was impressive.

“We need to be fearless. You can’t always focus on past match results—you need to focus on the present and the things in front of you.

Looking back at our history, I think we are very strong in single games… and many times we were the underdogs, but we finally won.”

The current challenge is how to convert this “single-game” advantage into more consistent performances. As Chelsea captain, James is eager to win more trophies and is full of expectations for the infinite possibilities in the future.

He said: “Obviously, things have changed in the past few years. Everything is adjusting, and new members have joined—different staff, and the team has become much younger.

But I think our performance last season is enough to show how much progress we have made, as well as the direction and goals we are striving for. I believe that with time, everything will become stronger and better.”
