According to media reports, AC Milan has made an offer for former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti, and Boca Juniors is also looking to compete for his signature.
The 33-year-old Verratti currently plays for Qatar’s Al-Duhail. The former Italy international has been included in Boca Juniors’ transfer target list, as the club is seeking to sign a high-profile star to prepare for the next Copa Libertadores.
Sources stated that Verratti is also a target for AC Milan, while Boca Juniors must first free up a foreign player quota to make a move.
In an interview with the media, a journalist commented on Boca Juniors’ interest and revealed that so far, only AC Milan has submitted an official offer for Verratti, but no deal has been finalized yet.
