Portuguese midfielder Pallinha of Bayern Munich is set to join Tottenham Hotspur on loan.
The loan agreement will include a €30 million buyout clause.
Bayern have approved the deal and permitted Pallinha to travel to England to undergo a medical with Tottenham. Tottenham will cover all of Pallinha's wages during the loan period.
