Liverpool right-back Conor Bradley has been ruled out for the rest of the season after sustaining a serious knee injury in the match against Arsenal.

Though he avoided an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear, Bradley suffered severe ligament and bone damage and is set to undergo surgery in the coming days. This means he will miss all remaining games of Liverpool’s campaign, as well as Northern Ireland’s World Cup play-off against Italy in March.
Bradley becomes the third first-team player of Liverpool to suffer a serious injury recently. Centre-back Leoni was previously sidelined for the season with an ACL injury, while Isaac is also recovering from a leg fracture.
With Bradley’s absence, Arne Slot’s defensive options have been further depleted. Joe Gomez and Jeremy Frimpong will be the main replacements, but this may hinder Frimpong from utilizing his speed advantage in the attacking third.
