According to media reports, Inter Milan are ready to submit an offer for Nathan Aké, consisting of a €2 million loan fee plus a €10 million buyout clause.

The 30-year-old Aké is a left-footed centre-back, and Inter Milan seem to be quietly pushing forward with his transfer. The club’s management hopes to present Manchester City with an offer that replicates the Manuel Akanji deal, namely a loan-to-buy agreement.
This season, Aké has only accumulated around 300 minutes of game time. For a player who has earned over 50 caps and scored 5 goals for the Netherlands national team, this is clearly far too little. Inter Milan are considering making a move in the winter transfer window, as they are in search of a left-footed centre-back who can not only play as a central defender but also serve as backup to Alessandro Bastoni, thus freeing up Carlos Augusto to focus on his left-wing role.
To sign Aké, Inter Milan are willing to pay Manchester City a €2 million loan fee, along with a mandatory €10 million buyout clause that will take effect in the summer window. Inter Milan hope to replicate the Akanji deal to sign a player of undeniable value at a very reasonable price. Aké’s contract is set to expire in 2027, and there are currently no signs of a contract extension.
